Q1 2024 Shooter Games Performance on iOS in Australia

Sensor Tower's latest data provides an overview of the top shooter games on the iOS platform in Australia for the first quarter of 2024. Here's how these games fared in terms of downloads, revenue, and weekly active users.

Call of Duty®: Warzone™ Mobile made a significant entry with a release in March, garnering around 88K downloads in its first week. In the following week, downloads saw a decrease to 37K. Revenue peaked at $2.8M in the last week of March, with weekly active users initially at 56K and slightly decreasing to 54K.

Call of Duty Warzone Mobile BR had a more stable quarter, with weekly revenue ranging from $111K to $1.7M. Downloads hit a high point of 12K in early March but dropped to just over 1K towards the end of the quarter. Weekly active users started strong at 73K but saw a dip to 69K by late March.

Hunting Sniper: Showdown experienced fluctuating revenue, starting the quarter at $4.4M and reaching up to $26M in mid-January, before settling at around $11M by the end of March. Downloads showed a declining trend from 11K to 2.8K, with weekly active users dropping from a high of 19K to just above 5K.

PUBG MOBILE, a veteran in the category, showed impressive resilience with weekly revenue soaring from $99M to an impressive $224M. Downloads remained consistent, ranging from 5K to 7K, while weekly active users increased from 74K to 77K, indicating a strong and engaged player base.

Lastly, Call of Duty®: Mobile led the pack with revenue peaking at $206M in the last week of March. Downloads saw a slight upturn from 4.8K to 6.7K, and weekly active users rose from 57K to 63K, showcasing the game's enduring popularity.
